Teaching is hard.

Raise your hand if you...
-love teaching, but are stressed by the demands of the classroom.

-are in awe of the amazing lessons you see online, but don't know where to start.

-are overwhelmed at the thought of differentiating for ALL of your students.

-want to gain confidence in the classroom to get your students excited about learning.

If you raised your hand to any of these, you're not alone!

I'm Gina Peluso, and it's my mission to help passionate teachers like you bring engaging, differentiated, and rigorous lessons into the classroom.

I've only been in the classroom for 5 years, but I learned quickly that passion outweighs the stress of the job. I started this blog to share classroom-tested ideas that won't break the bank, or have you living at school. You can do it all, and I'm here to help!

In my Teachers Pay Teachers Store, I have activities that will empower you to successfully run small group instruction, while keeping all students engaged and on task, products to keep you organized, and printables that are ready to go.

If you're ready to stomp out that stress and start teaching with your heart, click here to get started on the right foot for back to school!

If you've made it this far, here's a little bit more about me!

I was born and raised in Long Island, but stayed in Connecticut after graduating from college. I graduated with my Bachelor's in psychology, and my Master's in elementary education. My boyfriend, Niko, and I met on move in day in college, and have been together ever since. We have one fur baby, Dexter, who I treat like a real child.

I am obsessed with any crime drama TV show (hence, our dog's name). My favorite one is Criminal Minds. In a past life, I was definitely a criminal profiler :)! I also love reality TV, and secretly enjoy every second of the drama.

I L-O-V-E to bake, and seriously contemplated opening my own bakery. If you invite me over, you can be sure that I'll bring a sweet treat! It's also a must that I eat dessert before I go to bed every night.

I love teaching even more than dessert (if that's even possible). I talk about it, read about it, and write about it all. the. time. [Ask Niko, I'm sure it gets annoying]. So, I'm super excited that you're sticking around to hear what I have to share! If you find something you like, pop a comment in the post. I love reading your comments, and love writing back even more!
